Climate Change

Climate Change (2012) directed by Mckenzi Kerrigan.
It is not just global warming, the entire climate is changing. This short narrative film provides images that reveal the truth about how climate change is occurring naturally, but is also being accelerated due to acts of mankind. The causes of the acceleration, mostly the burning of fossil fuels, are shockingly revealed in the film through images of back to back traffic, electrical lines, and garbage dumps. The enhanced Greenhouse Effect caused by humans continue to have devastating effects all over the world with rising numbers of floods, fires, drought, etc. The film incorporates a positive ending to this devastation shown through images and music that ties the film together by reminding the viewers that there are actions that can be taken in order to slow down the effects that we as consumers are continually speeding up. This film serves the cause with a hope of having an impact on the viewers to feel compassion and a desire to help in slowing down the effects of climate change by living a 'green' lifestyle.
